It is believed that 42-year-old Miller committed suicide inside his Greenwich Street apartment Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said Miller slashed his throat with a knife that was later found under his body in his bathroom.
It is believed Miller killed himself after going on a booze and drug fueled bender win a man he met through the classified advertising website Backpage.com.
His body was found by a doorman in his building around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Surveillance footage in Miller’s Lower Manhattan apartment showed him entering the building with man around 7:30 p.m. Monday. Records showed at least two 911 calls were made from the banker’s landline on Monday.
Miller was the managing director of environmental and social risk management at Citigroup.
